New York City

Drew and I took a trip to New York City with Kate and Kevin! It was an awesome time. We went up to the Crown of the Statue of Liberty together, and then Drew and I walked around Ellis Island and explored the city (including the 9/11 Memorial) before meeting up with Kate and Kevin. Unfortunately for me, I fell down some steps outside of the 9/11 Memorial and badly sprained my ankle. Since it was fairly late on Saturday night, I decided to just hobble around until we got back to the hotel. By that point, my ankle had swelled up like a sausage! Super fun times. I’m just thankful that it happened after we’d climbed up and down all of those steps to the Crown!

Overall, it was a great weekend. It’s always fun to have a new adventure!
